More with The Duttons (Q+A featuring Scott Dutton)

Hello and Happy Friday!

I think this has to be my favorite episode yet. With my favorite person ever.

If you’ve listened to this podcast at all or have known me for any amount of time, you’ll know that my husband, Scott, is the most supportive, encouraging, intentional, and hilarious person around. He’s got a big belly laugh that when you really get him going fills a whole room – and once he starts he literally can’t stop. Scott is also the sole reason this podcast went from a fun idea to actually existing!

Low key, Scott is kind of everyone’s favorite Dutton.

We’ve been together for six years and just crossed the three-year mark in our marriage. These years have been filled with good, hard, change, grief, celebration, everyday life, friendship, and stories. Lots of stories.

This episode recaps a few of our favorite stories including the infamous New York hot dog stand memory – aka Scott’s happy place (as pictured below). And my most embarrassing moment when we were dating. Shout out to belt loops + chain link fences.

But what I also love about this episode is it gives you a glimpse into the part of Scott that I get to see. When you meet Scott it’s easy to peg him as the fun friend type – which he absolutely is – but I’ve loved learning how he views the world, what he thinks about life. The way his life experiences have shaped how he engages with others and views himself. I think you’re going to enjoy it too.

And if you like the episode, let me know – because it took a lot of convincing to get my love, Scotty D, on this episode and I sort of think he should be on more.
